A brand new Rainbow Unit is being opened in the Swansea Area and they are looking for donations to enable them to get all the items needed for the unit.
These items are required to start the unit and give it the best possible start. For people who don't know anything about Rainbows here's some information on what Rainbows are and how much having this unit can help benefit the girls to ensure they all have amazing experiences and change their life.
Rainbows welcomes all girls from 4 to 7 years old to laugh, learn and have fun in a creative safe space.
Rainbows will laugh, sing and make a happy mess (and help clear it up!) as they choose their way through our programme of activities.
Your child will have plenty of magical moments: they might become a time traveller, an animal tracker, a pop singer, a stargazer. It’s a wonderful world of adventure just for them.
The unit will need to get the following items in order to open and run effectively from the start: Stationery, Badges, Promise Bags, Promise Badges, Badge Books, Handbooks, Certificates, First Aid kit, Rent for the hire of the venue, Uniform for the volunteers, Games equipment and the annual membership fee to Girl Guiding.
The unit will be very appreciative of any help or donations that can be raised prior to the unit opening in October 2024. Any ongoing support is also very appreciated.
