OUR YOUNG PEOPLE NEED YOU!!!

Due to devastating budget cuts, our funding has been dramatically reduced. Like most charities we are fighting the serious risk of having to close many of our projects which benefit the young people of High Wycombe and Buckinghamshire. As it stands we are the last remaining youth charity in High Wycombe, providing a critical service to young people in terms of a safe space, advice and guidance.

WYA is literally the last man standing, and we believe it would be a tragedy if we too had to cut back. As it stands right now we provide mentoring and support to some of the most vulnerable young people in our community, our staff come with extensive experience and expertise in the arena, and work tirelessly to guide and support young people through the challenges that face them.

With our proud history and connection with the town, we wish to continue our work and increase our services so we can meet the demand for our services. With no funding coming from central or local government, we are turning to our communities for support.

We believe in a brighter future for young people, we also believe that they need to have access to positive activities that they have worked hard to gain access too. That is why the majority of our young people also volunteer with is, running projects and learning new skills in the process. Our most recent campaign is an anti-bullying campaign, which has been entirely thought up and delivered by young people, this is just one example of the work that we do.

With our knowledge, drive and connections we aim to be a national charity in the UK and who knows, maybe one day even a YOUTH ACTION International charity...
