In Memory of Ian Green (“Wizz”)

We are heartbroken to share the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Ian Green, known to many as “Wizz.” Ian tragically passed away on Friday, 25th October, while working as a Class 1 driver at XDP.

Ian was more than just a valued team member, Wizz was a friend to us all, a kind soul who had time for everyone, and a positive spirit that touched every person he met. Our customers, colleagues, and everyone who crossed paths with him knew him as someone genuinely special.

Wizz leaves behind his beloved partner, Amanda, and family, and while we can never fill the space he’s left behind, we hope to support them as they face the difficult days ahead. This Just Giving page has been set up by XDP with any donations made going directly to Amanda and the family, to help ease the journey ahead and honour the memory of a man who gave so much to those around him.

Thank you for your kindness, and generosity, and for joining us in remembering Wizz. He will be forever missed and never forgotten.
