Since 2014, emergency service staff at Southport Fire and Ambulance Station have provided a Christmas Day meal for local old age pensioners who, for one reason or another, have no one to spend Christmas Day with. The meal is held at the Fire Station in our fabulous Community Rooms which overlook beautiful Lord Street,
Our guests are offered return transport, entertainment, a game or two of bingo, a raffle, a traditional 4 course Christmas lunch and a gift from Santa. The day is free for all our guests.
Our pensioners Christmas Day party has proved to be extremely popular and has brightened up many of our pensioners lives, but they cost money! Any amount you could give would be so very gratefully received.
