Last year Dennyloanhead & Head of Muir had their first community Christmas tree in over 30 years. This was made possible by the efforts of community members, past and present, and local businesses pulling together to raise enough funds to cover the cost of this. We did encounter a few hiccups along the way with storm force winds ultimately bringing the tree down. Lessons have been learned from this and solutions identified moving forward. There was a great sense of community spirit and pride in our achievement so we would like to try and ensure that a tree is a feature year after year.
