Story

As-salāmu ʿalaykum.
Many of us find ourselves complaining during these difficult times, myself included, yet we forget that we have the privilege of experiencing this pandemic from the comfort of our homes, with food, water & healthcare accessible to us.
With Ramadan approaching, it is a great time for all of us to come together and help those less fortunate than us. Everyone deserves to be safe in these unprecedented times. Our Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) said “A man’s true wealth is the good he does in this world”
My grandparents were born in Bangladesh, and from a young age I have visited and seen first hand the upsetting situations people are in due to poverty. Due to Covid-19 many families are facing even more struggle to be able to provide food for their family as people are left with little or no work. In the UK parents worry when their children will be back to school, in Bangladesh they worry about their children having enough food to stay alive.
My parents have always taught me to be grateful for all that I have and to help those in need. As unfortunate as it is we can get caught up in our own lives & forget those suffering. Not just as muslims, but as people we have the responsibility to help those suffering, and after seeing one of my best friends help others and make such a difference I would also like to use my platform to help. 🙌🏽
All the money raised will go towards providing food packages to poor families around Bangladesh, due to the circumstances my Mum wont be able to go herself as she does most years to donate, but my cousin shall be delivering these and keeping me updated so I can show you guys what a difference your donations make!
May Allah bless you for your generosity and may you be rewarded for your kindess, even just £1 can make a difference of whether a family eats or doesn’t!
I pray that you all are staying safe and well, and thank you from the bottom of my heart for your help in reaching our goal❤️
