Iʼve raised £310 to Xplosion Cheerleaders. A team will be trekking the welsh 3000s in 24 hours.

    Snowdonia, Wales
Funded on Saturday, 1st June 2019

Don't have time to donate right now?

    Story

We are a small cheerleading group called Xplosion based in Bideford in Devon. We are a group of people starting from the age of 3 yrs all the way up to adults.

I will be raising money for the community by carrying out the Welsh 3000s. The challenge is to trek 14 peaks starting form the top of Snowdon after sleeping at the summit and trekking above 3000 feet in 24 hours. Not for the faint hearted lol.

Xplosion is a non-profit organisation and all proceeds from fund raisers go into the club for equipment, travel to competitions, hotels, uniforms, competition fees and rent for unit for training and storage.

This group has the potential to go far in competitions, however we do not have the facilities to be able to train hard.

At present we train every Sunday for a whole day at the back of a school gymnasium which isn't large enough to do the stunts we require to compete, we are in need of a unit to rent out so we can train during the week. The more time we have the better we will become. we all love to cheer and it would be a shame if we can not carry on and close the doors.

We desperately need help to raise money for a deposit for a unit and cheerleading equipment which is why I have taken the opportunity to carry out this adventure in aid to keep the squad going and to improve our community spirt.

If we are successful the children stay out of trouble and continue to have fun whilst doing exercise and staying healthy.

Any donations will be greatly received.

    Many thanks in advance

    Xplosion Team
