Increased the target to £2,500 as we are now planning a series of events in the lead up to the General Election on 12th December. Extinction Rebellion is an apolitical organisation. We are not supporting any particular party. We are campaigning to make the climate and ecological crisis the central issue for this election. We are urging people to ask parliamentary candidates what they will do about the climate emergency. We will have costs for leaflets/printing, art materials, room hires and sustenance.

We are now in day 6 of the rebellion. There have been amazing times, and deeply exhausting and stressful times. We are making a big impact and engaging with so many people. Here is our canoe on Horse Guards Road, at the front of the roadblock. It had such an amazing impact. You can't tell from this picture, but this is blocking the road directly at the back of Downing Street, the very centre of government. Just 30 yards away are the Downing Street armed guards with automatic weapons. Love & rage x
