We need some funds to cover venue bookings, coach hire, art materials, IT costs.

XR Derby supporters are focusing on mobilising to make The Big One a huge success. We must stand up to the UK government which is in thrall to the fossil fuel industry. We must stand up for justice and fight against fuel poverty. We must stand up for those lives which will be destroyed if carbon pollution continues to increase, and habitats are destroyed. We must stand up for those (human and non-human) who have no voice.

The Big One is a peaceful nonviolent protest that will bring 100,000 people onto the streets around Parliament over 4 days. The event has been liaised with the police and the authorities, and does not involve obstructing the public nor arrestable actions. There are many supporting organisations .
