Story

Please watch the video link https://fb.watch/ksBvRUWWSX/ to understand why we wanted to help.
Andy, Oliver & Daniel Jarvis, Ade & Lewis Radford, Molly Sturney, Andy Reeves, Brian Charlton, Chris Hall, Ed Mason, Jason Tipler, Martin Jakes , and Steve Joel from Yeovil Rugby Club wanted to support their former coach George Cooper. This charity was founded in loving memory of Katharine Rutherford, George's daughter, who sadly died of a glioblastoma. Thankfully, these Glioblastoma's are very rare (about 1 in every 10,000 cancer diagnosis), but unfortunately they are not as well understood, and not as treatable as other cancers. This results in a life expectancy of only 12-15 months from diagnosis. The charities purpose is to raise public awareness of glioblastoma and to support organisations focusing on the advancement in understanding and treatment of Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM4)
