Story
A number of adventurous staff, parents and friends of St Wystan’s School, Repton, Derbyshire are walking the Yorkshire 3 Peaks (Y3P) on either (or in some cases both) 27th April or the 18th May 2019. They are raising funds for Audrina, one of the pupils of St Wystan's, who is facing a huge personal challenge.
We are aiming to complete the 25 mile trek in 12 hours – we welcome your support, however small, to help Audrina.
Update:
15 mile practice walk from Monsal Head, Derbyshire - some sore feet but looks like we'll do the Y3P in about 10 hours

Audrina's story:
Hi my name is Audrina and I am 4 years old! I have High Risk Neuroblastoma and have been battling this disease since July 2018.
So far I have had numerous rounds of chemotherapy and surgery to remove my tumour.I will have high dose chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant early 2019 followed by radiotherapy and immunotherapy.
Even with all this intense treatment children with High Risk Neuroblastoma have a very high risk of relapse with more than 50% of tumours returning.
When relapse occurs there is only a 1 in 10 chance of survival.
This is why Audrina really needs your help:
We are fundraising for specialist treatment in the USA that helps prevent relapse called DFMO. DFMO has already saved hundreds of childrens lives by preventing recurrent disease. It works differently to all the other treatment Audrina will receive and we are confident it will be an effective barrier against relapse.
However, this treatment will cost £200,000 as it is only available in the USA. It is imperative Audrina receives this treatment to ensure her cancer does not return and she can finally get back to living a normal life and enjoying her childhood.
If you could please donate whatever you can we would be forever grateful. Even if it is £1 it all helps!!
Thank you!! :-)
