I've raised £750 to publish a bilingual illustrated children's book about Cuba entitled "I live in Havana/Yo vivo en La Habana."

Little is known about the life of children growing up in Cuba today. This beautifully illustrated book is the story of a little girl called Yadira (age 8) who lives in Havana and tells us about her daily life and activities. Written in both Spanish and English, it is ideal for families interested in visiting Cuba, children curious about life in other countries and for children of Cuban families living abroad. We are working together with the Music Fund for Cuba (a UK registered charity) to ensure than £1 from each sale of this book goes to support children studying at conservatories in Cuba. So if you take the time to read the book, you will become closer to Cuba's children on many levels. Supporters making a donation of £10 or more can receive a complimentary signed first edition!
