I've raised £7500 to support Yama & his family to start a new life in the UK having fled the Taliban in Afghanistan.

Yama and I worked together in Afghanistan alongside his elder brother Qais in 2005 and again in 2006, Yama subsequently supported UK, Swedish and NATO forces for the next 15 years. Yama, his wife and 3 children aged 5-15 are thankfully now safely on the way to the UK after much anxiety and fear.
No one wants to be a refugee but they are now safe and have a tough journey ahead….please help me to help them with your kind donations. I want to help Yama’s wife and children learn English so that they can integrate into our commuity, I will also look to help Yama get a UK driver’s licence and assist him and his family to set up a new home. All the money raised will go directly to supporting Yama and his family. They left Afghanistan on 26 August with just one bag each. The UK owes a debt of gratitude to all the ARAP families for their service over many years in support of our troops in Afghanistan.
I can never fully repay Yama for what he has sacraficed to serve our country, but I can offer moral and practical support as much as he needs. All your kind donations will go towards this aim.
