I am a contestant of Miss Jamaica UK 2016, and I'm campaigning for two charities called 'Woman Incorporated (crisis centre) & Disabled Peoples International.
My reason's for representing these charities are because I have first-hand in them, one I have been through sexual assault & two disability called Joint Hypermobility Syndrome (JHS) and Neurogenic Syndrome (nerve problem).

I have experienced sexual abuse, so with my knowledge and understanding I would like to stand for all those people who have suffered and are still suffering, and those who do not know much about their disability and need help understanding it, as well as people who have been sexually assaulted, raped, molested, incest, abused etc.

I want people to be aware of JHS more as I know that about only 10% of the population have it and do not know where to go to get help as doctors do not even know much about it, also how to look after yourself and what to do etc, coming onto women crisis I not only would be the 100th person supporting this but I have come across people who do not know what consent is and the blame game needs to be nipped in the bud.

I feel as if a lot of people especially young and others from other cultures are not educated enough, this is very close and personal to me and I would like to make a difference and be a part of the difference.
