Story

In The Name Of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
When civil war broke out in Syria in 2012, no one would have believed that it would still be continuing in 2018 costing over 500,000 lives and displacing over half of the Syrian population.
Racquell Hayden-Best and Tauqir Sharif gave up their comfortable lives in London to go and help the Syrian refugees. They have set up camps for refugees and people from the bombed cities have been flocking to them. Their sacrifice has been immense, may Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala reward them abundantly.
Ghouta, Aleppo, and now Deraa, where hospitals, mosques, schools and homes have been bombed. The Jordanian border has been closed. These people have nowhere to run. Imagine the suffering of these peope in the scorching heat, no food, no shelter, no sanitation, no dignity
I have been following them from the beginning and seeing their sacrifice has made me question, what are my doing? What are we doing in the UK to help our brothers and sisters?
The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa salam said that the believers are like a body, when one part of it is sick, the body stays awake all night in sympathy. What else can we do, make dua and give money to help relieve their suffering.
I have organised this event, Dine 4 Syria 2 to help raise funds for Racquell and Tauqir to continue supporting the refugees. I desperately need sponsors to help with the costs. Everything you donate will be used solely for this noble cause. May Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala purify our intentions and make our actions solely for seeking His Face.
