My daughter is 10 years old she was 9 years old when dignosed with scoliosis. My daughter is a very sporty girl she loves her acro gymnastics with her curve being 80 degrees the doctor want to do fusion rods. Meaning she will have to end her acro gymnastics. As alot of friends and family know my daughter eats sleeps dreams gymnastics. We have found a operation that can be done in Turkey or Germany this will mean Yazmin would be able to carry on her gymnastics aswell as leading a normal life. This operation isn't available in the UK on the NHS and is alot more to pay private and Yazmin curve will get worse before it is available on the NHS in the uk. The operation in the UK on the NHS will mean my daughter being put to sleep every 3 to 6 month for the rods to be made bigger. We want the best operation for Yazmin I know it's a big ask asking for money but me and my daughter would be very grateful for all the help. I have done all the research in this operation and this is the best option for yazmin. Thanks for reading.
