Story

15 pupils and 2 teachers from Ysgol Dyffryn Aman are undertaking a visit to the remote Kullu Valley in India in Summer 2019.

The group will be working with a school in a remote village in the Valley and will be involved in the physical renovation and extension of a school that serves a small but very widespread population.

Education is essential everywhere in the World and we are determined to do what we can to help develop education for children in the World.

The school has a long-term partnership with the Kathmandu English School and has developed a considerable interest in the region.

The pupils going on the trip are aged from 15-18 and will be accompanied by Mr Steve Hagget and Miss Bethan Bevan as well as members from Outlook Expeditions who have organised the adventure.

We will be travelling for 3 weeks in July and August 2019 and as well as working in the school we will be taking the opportunity to do some trekking in the beautiful Himalayan mountains.
