A Walk for Belle
A truly inspiring young girl, who needs all the support we can give her and her family.
12 months ago, her family heard the words cancer, osteosarcoma; those dreaded words that we never want to hear. She battled through it and never without that contagious beautiful smile.
Belle rang the bell in May to signal the end of a year of gruelling chemo and an operation to remove a bone in her leg, replacing it with titanium.
All was looking promising; a year of hell and now the future to look forward to. Unfortunately a few weeks later they got the news that secondary cancer of the lungs was going to be a new fight. A battle she has fought hard to beat, but tragically she can not fight this anymore. Sadly, she now needs our help to make amazing memories with her whole family.
Let’s get raising the money so the whole family can take time away from work to spend these days being together, where they need to be.
Belle is only 10 years old, so her school friends, parents and teachers are going to, ‘Walk for Belle; a time for making memories’, to help raise money so her dad can be at home. So the family can do just that, make those precious memories with the time they have left together.
On Sat 15th Sept Belle’s class mates and teachers will embark on a 7 mile walk from Roberts Park, Saltaire, to Five Rise Locks, Bingley, and back again. Please support these amazing kids, their families, the teachers of Blakehill Primary, Belle and her family.
Thank you for taking time to read this and please please donate and share. Thank you again as with your help we can make this happen. xxx
