Who was saniya riaz?

our beloved sister was a beautiful & genuine soul inside and out. She was the best sister, best mother to our 8 year old nephew, best niece and the best aunty. She was loved by each and every person that had the privelege to know her. Saniya had a loving and generous soul. She loved with all her big heart and spread kindness wherever she was.

On the 13th of October, just a day after her birthday, saniya left this world. She was involved in a serious car accident, where a drunk driver hit in to the vehicle saniya was travelling in 😥 and she lost her life within a few hours later. Losing a loved one is hard enough but to lose your sister in such circumstances and so suddenly has been the hardest thing to get through. Our whole family, friends and the community were shocked and devestated. She left behind her 8 year old son who waited for her to come home that evening not knowing his mother was never going to come home 💔

She was the most loving mother and both mother and son had the most beautiful relationship and were inseperable. Her absence is like the sky, spread over everything for us 🥺

In 2020, when I started my business , Saniya played a big role in your girl can bake, one being the social media manager as she loved creating content. We’d work all day & night together. She is and always will be missed but she will still be a big part of YGCB and every milestone we achieve. Gone but never forgotten as they say 🕊️
