    Story

In 2022 we held the first ever Yidish Sof-Vokh in the UK - a weekend during which only Yiddish could be spoken. The aim as to support Yiddish speakers, and encourage learners. It was a wonderful weekend of being together, with booth structured sessions and informal time, with good food, and singing, in a beautiful setting. The event is non-profit-making and we have applied to become a charity. Due to the generosity of a number of people we were able to offer bursaries to 7 people to help with the cost. We want to make this event annual, plans are now under way for 2023, and we want to make it affordable to encourage participation. Your donations will help us make it accessible to more people as well as promoting an important piece of the Jewish cultural heritage.
