✨ Join Us in the Dance for Life ✨
An Invitation from Ya’Acov & Susannah and the School of Movement Medicine
Dear friends, dancers, dreamers and change-makers,
We warmly invite you to be part of something deeply meaningful to us.
This summer, from 11–17 July 2026, we will gather once again in ceremony for the Summer Long Dance, Movement Medicine’s flagship event. This powerful, life-affirming ritual is where our community comes together in devotion to life — to dance deeply, to grieve, to let go, to give thanks, to pray, to act, and to resource ourselves for the year ahead.
This year, our collective intention is to raise £21,000 for a cause we believe is vital: Fundación Pachamama and the Sacred Headwaters Project — an Indigenous-led initiative protecting the heart of the Amazon rainforest. This region is not only the lungs of our Earth, but also a living source of wisdom, biodiversity, and hope.
The Long Dance is a give-away ceremony. Every dancer who steps into the circle commits to raising funds — not only to support this important work, but also to strengthen their own prayer. It is a way of walking our talk and offering something real in return for all we have received.
Will you stand with us? Will you help us reach our goal?
We are calling on our wider circle — friends, family, students, colleagues and allies — to support this sacred action. Whether you are dancing yourself or supporting someone who is, every contribution helps bring this prayer to life.
➡️ Please give what you can. Share this with those you love. Let’s make this happen together.
Together, we can meet — and exceed — our £21,000 goal.
We thank you from our hearts.
With love,
Ya’Acov & Susannah
and all of us at the School of Movement Medicine
