We are now offering the Freedom Programme to any woman in Telford who feels she needs it. We receive no additional funding to offer these sessions.

The Freedom Programme is designed to empower women who have previously suffered, are currently suffering or are at risk of suffering domestic abuse. It looks at the impact on them and also on their children, and gives them the information they need to move on into successful, happy and healthy relationship in the future. There is also a men’s programme which is run nationwide by Pat Craven, who designed the original course. The impact of the Freedom Programme on the women who participate, and their children, should not be underestimated. Details of the programme are available at www.freedomprogramme.co.uk

The course is free to attend, and all participants receive two books, again free of charge, to enable them to work through the programme.

YMCA Wellington will provide the venue, refreshments and staffing for the sessions, however a full set of 25 books will cost us £287.50.Donations will be used to buy books to allow us to support as many women as possible to complete the course.
