We are organising a sponsored walk from the Bristol Hippodrome to the Macmillan Theatre in Bridgwater to raise funds for the Young Musical Theatre Company.

YMTC is an all-inclusive, not-for-profit theatre company for young people aged 3 to 18, welcoming participants from all backgrounds and abilities. Based in Bridgwater, Somerset, the company provides a supportive and creative space where young people can develop confidence, skills, and a love for the performing arts.

Our goal is to raise enough money to purchase light boxes, enabling our youngest members to stage their own annual productions alongside the wider YMTC community and their families. With additional funding, we also hope to invest in headset microphones, allowing children to perform on stage at the Arts Centre with greater confidence and professionalism.

This equipment will make a meaningful difference, giving young performers access to opportunities and production experiences that would otherwise be out of reach. It will allow us to create, stage, and direct their own small-scale productions to a much higher standard, enriching their learning and enjoyment of theatre.
