Story

As I am embarking on a trip back to Thailand this coming October with my family, I realised that apart from showing my daughter her roots and heritage, I'd like to show her another side of the world, a not very happy side, so that she can learn to appreciate how fortunate she is by taking a trip to Phayathai Babies' Home.

The Phayathai Babies' Home is located outside of Bangkok and provides care for several hundred orphaned children and HIV positive children from 0-5 years of age. The site, run by Thailand's Department of Public Welfare, is the biggest orphanage for children under age 5 in the country.

Consisting of 18 separate buildings, the need for clean water was vast. Each building houses anywhere from 25-100 children broken up into age categories and health categories.

Having talked to a few of my friends back home, we decided to make it a day of helping and donating the essential items for those children in need. All the money raised from this crowdfunding will go towards all the essentials that The Home may need (I will be contacting the home to see if they could give us a list).

Any spare changes you can give can make such a different to these children and on their behalf, I'd like to thank you in advance for your support. Because people like you can give hope to those less fortunate that this world is not against them.

Thank you!
