Story

Over recent years, Tadcaster Albion have suffered from severe flooding at their Stadium, which has seen devastating results for the Football Club. The Global Stadium is situated next to the River Wharfe and it has often flooded the ground, leaving the pitch under water and destroying the clubhouse on many occasions.

The aim of this charity game is to help raise funds for the club, so that they can invest into improving their clubhouse, which will help the club in their long-term future at the Global Stadium.

The game between York City Supporters FC and Darren Powell's The Kew's Charity side will be played at the Global Stadium on Sunday 27th March 2022, with a kick off time set for 2pm.

Come down to the ground on the day of the game, its FREE ADMISSION and the clubhouse will be open for both alcoholic and hot drinks.

Help us raise at least £500 for this brilliant football club, who have sadly endured so much over these past few years due to flooding!
