Serving Royal Marines will be taking on the Challenge of the Yorkshire 3 Peaks 3 times in 24hours to help raise £5,000 for 3 causes close to home. We want to raise money where we can wctually see the differences we make in our community from the money we raise.

1. The RMA. There are families of marines who may be going through a difficult time, they may have just lost their husband, father, brother and these donations will help out with bills, birthdays and holidays for their families.

2. Broadfield Specialist School. This cause is close to home for one of the lads taking part in the challenge. The donations will go towards new facilities for pupils at the school giving them more opportunities and providing them with a better experience whilst at school.

3. Cash for Kids Lancashire. The donations will go towards christmas presents for less fortunate children this year. I think many of us can be guilty of being ungrateful at times and I think this would be a really rewarding thing to do to.
