I've raised £1000 to help support vulnerable young people who have left the care system and are suffering from mental health issues with no one to support them.

Organised by Oliver Mennell
Youth depression in the UK is rapidly on the rise and teen suicide rates are now at their highest in a decade. Meanwhile children in the foster care the system have a much higher risk of mental illness and from the age of only 16 are transitioned out of foster care and into independent life and often don't have access to typical family support structures.
With the money we plan to raise we want to help support these vulnerable young people who are at the highest risk of suicide. Through access to counselling, psychotherapy and mentoring from people who have been through similar situations we hope to show them that there is so much to live for.
