    Story

The very many talented dramatic performers, musicians and dancers in this 1000 strong state secondary school in rural Llangollen (famous for it's International Eisteddfod) are looking to raise sufficient funds to transform their 1960's school hall into a performance space which complements their outstanding artistic abilities.

Money raised will be used to purchase and install new lighting and sound systems, stage curtaining and seating. It is also necessary to completely redecorate.

Performances by community groups as well as competitors at the Eisteddfod will also benefit from this refurbishment.

We are showcasing the talents of our students in the amazing production of Les Miserables. With a cast of 50 students and our 25 strong school band performing all of the music live for the show it promises to be a show not to be missed. Profits from the show will go to our Curtain Up Appeal.

The November fundraiser was "Collect your Copper" inter form competition. We have so far raised over £450. The students built castles with their form collections. The winning Forms both collected almost £55 each. Well Done all! We are still collecting so if you have a donation drop it into school.

I spent many hours singing and acting on the YDB stage throughout my time at school. It's about time it gets an upgrade! Best of luck!
