Story

Nearly 2.3 million children under the age of five are projected to suffer from acute malnutrition this year in war-torn Yemen and we must act to save them from this dreadful suffering now..

The number of Yemeni children in danger of death from lack of food has increased to 400,000, an increase of 22 percent over 2020.

I am greatly aware of the difficulties that many people are experiencing here in the UK AND IRELAND due to Covid 19. However, we are nations of givers and the money that is raised will go directly to humanitarian agencies who can help these poor and desperate children immediately. Covid 19 has served to add to their relentless plight. Do we truly know the meaning of suffering?

Lent begins next week and Ramadan begins in April. These are both holy & blessed times of almsgiving, sacrifice, reparation and giving. The plight of these children has been overlooked for too long and we must act now to save the lives of the most innocent victims of this dreadful Yemeni war.

God bless all who read this note and if you can’t afford to make a donation, then all I ask is for your prayers for the children of Yemen and all the children who suffer throughout the world.
