Story
My mum Yvonne Jones was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia end of October 2018 and started treatment on the hematology ward at the Churchill Hospital. All went well till she got sepsis, she recovered from that but in May after seeing me complete The Etape Loch Ness she was told it was terminal, this was a shock not only to myself and dad but to the fantastic staff on the ward.
My mum never complained and fought hard but on 17th May she passed away but not before seeing and being there for me to pass a cheque for £2000 to SpecialEffect.
Every one who ever met my mum has been effected and miss her dearly. I her son Jason want to raise funds to help the staff on the hematology ward lok after the people under their care even better, so they can purchase extra equipment they need in my mum's name.
