Story

Zachariah is 8 months old. He is such a happy, smiley baby But on the 15th november 2017 our world came crashing down when zac was diagnosed with bilateral parietal subcortical band heterotopia, lissencephaly and microcephaly. After some developmental delay, problems feeding and a small head zac was sent for an MRI. This was the result. This condition has a poor prognosis. it is a life limiting condition that essentially will dramaticaly reduce his life expectancy. Children with this condition dont reach adulthood. Zac will have profound learning difficulties and will never walk or talk. Siezures and spasticity are almost certain. We are of course totally devastated and heartbroken. It doesnt seem real that our happy little man will never have a ‘normal‘ life. Zacs dad elvis works so hard to provide for the family but it doesnt cover all the extra needs zac has. His car seat alone is £700. We are trying to raise some money for our little boy to help with the cost of equipment and to make the most of the short little life he will have. His brothers, charlie 10 and oscar 3, need to make as many memories as they can with him. You have no idea how much we appreciate everyones support and kindness. Family, friends and professionals have just been amazing and we couldnt get through it without you all. Thankyou from the bottom of our hearts
