I write this with the greatest sadness and wonder where do you begin after loosing a child?

As parents that’s what the Bailey family are going through right now. On Saturday the 25th September 2021 there beautiful son Zach Leo Bailey passed away in his sleep.

With no prior illness or worries Zach went to bed like any other night but didn’t wake up the next morning. As a parent that is your worst nightmare, to lose a child.

Zach was a happy, smiling 10 year old with the whole world ahead of him. He was loved by many for his massive personality and loving heart.

As a village to be able to offer support is everyone’s first thought. Flowers, cards, cakes, food parcels and messages of condolence, have all been gratefully received.

But can we offer support in other ways? The obvious is the cost of laying Zach to rest. But also to be able to give Mark & Theresa whatever amount of time away from work without the pressure of I need to go back, would be an invaluable gift.

So I ask you kindly to donate as a community to look after one of our own families of this village.
