Story
salaam guys. I dont usually do this kind of stuff but the news I got 2 days ago has really affected my heart and really broke me. I dont know if you guys heard, but a lady from Heather Road, Small Heath passed away a couple of days ago who was a cancer sufferer for a while; her jannazah was yesterday. She left behind her husband and 3 young children, oldest being 10 and youngest being 2(who suffers from downs syndrome). The family came to the UK on a work permit so they are yet to be permanent residents of the UK. Due to this fact they do not recieve any financial help from the goverment, purely survive on their fathers wage from a restaurant. Alhumdulillah the muslim community have been amazing in raising the £3,500 needed for her funeral, however I know there will be more financial difficulties ahead of them, as most likely the father will have to give up work to look after his young children, as they do not have much relatives over here to support them. This is why im sending you all this message to see if you are able to offer any financial support to them, whether it be a small donation or whatever you can spare. I will be going to visit the family on monday with my mom, so will personally be delivering the money to the family myself. This story really saddened especially when I heard that the childrens mother was in a hospice for 2 months during her last stages of cancer and every night would refuse to close her eyes and go to sleep, not because she was scared of dying, but because she didnt want to leave her children behind, she was scared if she shut her eyes she may never see her children again, Subhan’Allah that is what a mothers love is. May Allah have mercy on her soul , forgive her sins, grant her the highest rank in Jannah and ease the pain & suffering for the family that she leaves behind. Ameen x
