Story
As-Salamu Alaykum,
Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un on the evening of 09/12/21 at 3 pm, aged just 19, our brother Zain Yousef returned to our Lord. After speaking to Zain’s family we have set up this fundraiser in his loving memory to raise money as a form of Sadaqah Jariyah.
Zain was a young man with a bright future ahead of him. He was loved by a countless number of people, our beloved brother had a compassionate heart and never failed to bring smiles to everyone's faces which will be immensely missed. He was always the one illuminating someone’s bad day with his vibrant personality and endless humour. We lost a precious brother, the most loving, tender and funniest young man. He had many goals and aspirations planned for the future, he was a first-year university student and unfortunately, after reaching university he returned to our creator.
At 3 pm on 09/12/21, Zain had a sudden seizure which caused his heart to fail. This was very shocking news for everyone, even on the morning of the day he mentioned that he was feeling fine. كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَائِقَةُ الْمَوْتِ “Every soul will taste death”, death is the only thing that is guaranteed in our life, we should take this as an important lesson.
On the authority of Abu Hurairah (ra) that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said,
‘When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: Sadaqah Jariyah (a continuous charity), or knowledge from which benefit is gained, or a righteous child who prays for him”.
100% of the donations will go towards various Sadaqah Jariyah and noble causes in Zain’s name generously, The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said,
“Charity does not decrease wealth, no one forgives another but that Allah increases his honour, and no one humbles himself for the sake of Allah but that Allah raises his status.”
May Allah reward everyone who takes part in this. No donation is considered as small and the reward is always going to be greater. If you are a UK taxpayer; please remember to gift aid.
May Allah SWT have mercy on Zain and provide ease to his family in this difficult period, may Allah forgive and remit any sins Zain had committed. We ask you to keep Zain and his family in your sincerest duas and prayers. May Allah SWT elevate his status and grant him Jannat Al Firdaws.
Jazakallah Khair.
