zally foundation | inspiring communitiez

zally foundation is a newly established charity by the tech startup zally , dedicated to uplifting youth in the north. As part of the zally foundation, we're supporting amazing charities that are doing their part to make real changes for children, young people and their families in the North West.

For this activity, team members and friends of zally and SoSquared will be running the AJ Bell Great Manchester 10k on 26th May. All donations from this activity will go to Seashell Trust and towards the work that zally foundation does in the North West.

Seashell Trust is a national learning disability charity that focus on transforming the young lives of those with the most complex learning difficulties, disabilities and additional communication needs across the UK. Seashell provide specialise education at their outstanding school and special needs college, together with residential and respite care, supported by their health, wellbeing and therapy services, community facilities and services that they offer beyond the Cheadle Hulme site.

Sam Royle, founder of SoSquared , is not only running the 10k, he is also going to be wearing hefty 20kg vest for the duration of the run. This may seem very heavy to you, but this is just average weight of the equipment that aids these children and young adults at Seashell Trust. This weight symbolises the daily challenges faced by the individuals supported by The Seashell Trust, showcasing the resilience and dedication of their caregivers and families.
