    Story

ZGH are proud to be a part of:

This is a collaborative effort striving to raise funds in support of conservation and community charities working in Zambia’s Luangwa Valley .

The lack of visiting tourists this year is having a profound effect on all the inhabitants of the Luangwa Valley. Nick Riddin of Remote Africa Safaris, who have camps in the North and the South Luangwa National Parks, is the driving force behind Walk Luangwa 2020 which is 350km walk through some of Africa’s most pristine wilderness. Zambian Ground Handlers is excited to be a part of the project and both Nick Aslin and Dani Rose will be joining for different parts of this trek through the Luangwa Valley.

The walk starts in the Middle of the North Luangwa National Park on the 27th July and will finish 17 days and 350kms later at the most southerly camp in the South Park. Funds raised will be donated to the following charities all of who work tirelessly to preserve the wildlife, the habitats and the communities of this wonderful corner of Africa.

We appreciated that times are tough for many right now so any donation large or small will be hugely appreciated and will go a long way to ensuring the long-term preservation of the Luangwa Valley.
