Hey!

Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page. On the 17th July, I am will be travelling to Nairobi in Kenya for two weeks volunteering in a local school.

As a teacher I will be teaching a primary curriculum of English, Maths, Science, Religion and Social Studies. I am hoping to raise enough money in order to volunteer my time and any remaining money will go towards donations to buy pens, pencils, paper and chalk.

I will be volunteering with Agape Volunteers. They are one of the only full time aid organisations operating in Kenya. Agape Volunteers is committed to continuing outreach trips but is also investing in longer term solutions to the problem, which include the building of a school, completed in 2010 and a medical clinic, due for completion this year.

The money I raise will help fund my trip to Nairobi, and any extra I raise will be donated directly to Agape Volunteers and the local school in Kenya.
