Story
On June 16th/17th I am going to be taking on the Three Peak Challenge; climbing the three largest mountains in Britain within 24 hours. I am doing this in order to raise funds to help an amazing 14 year old boy called Jack.
Jack has severe autism. As a young child, it became clear that schooling was not helping him to make any progress in terms of his interaction with the world around him. This is when Jack began the Son-Rise program; an effective and powerful Autism treatment that is based on joining in with the child rather than forcing them to engage. Since October, I have witnessed the unbelievable progress that he has made, especially in his language and interaction. Two months ago, Jack said my name for the first time, and it really hit home what astonishing progress has been made.
However, the Son-Rise program is not government funded. Jack’s team relies on volunteers and donations towards his treatment. In order to get Son-Rise professionals from America to work with Jack and train the team, we need your help.
Please donate as much as you possibly can, join Jack's team and make a real difference. I will do everything I can to complete this challenge in the 24 hours. #JustforJack
