Zayn has been selected to play for both Scotland U13s Ice Hockey & the UK Selects 2011 team who are travelling to tournaments in Bratislava & Riga respectively.

We are all so proud of Zayn, he has worked extremely hard both on and off the ice and his dedication to prove himself worthy of a place in the teams is to be admired. Due to the significant financial commitment, the players are being encouraged to actively participate in raising funds, showcasing their achievements and the promotion of their Sport.

Zayn has also decided, as a show of respect, he has chosen to wear the number 21 in memory of our family friend Mike Hammond professional & GB Ice Hockey player , who died suddenly last summer. Zayn is also wanting to donate part of the money he raises to the scholarship fund being arranged in Mike's memory by his family in British Columbia.

Zayn stated " I am so happy to have been picked for Scotland and the UK select team, i will try my best to make Mike proud wearing his number"
