The old town of Sfax is one of the most beautiful and powerful examples of the 11th century Islamic architecture. Unfortunately, nowadays there's a massive destruction of this beautiful treasure. People are not aware of the cultural and historical importance of this part of the city and do not hesitate to transform the precious buildings into a modern, offensives, and decontextualized shops.

The aim of this project is to sensitize people to the wealth and beauty of this site and try to rebuild the general harmony of this amazing old town as well as to establish laws that can protect the historic buildings.
