Weʼve raised £85 to Help a fellow Steampunk, who due to ill-health is now unable to make it to Asylum, and has been left out of pocket by greedy hoteliers

Story
A fellow Steampunk, and well loved member of the steampunk community, has found herself unable to attend this year's Asylum, due to ill-health, and has found herself £253 out of pocket - thanks to the greedy hoteliers of The White Hart Hotel, Lincoln, as she's had to cancel her booking and they have had the downright cheek to charge her for the room - knowing full well that they'll be able to book the room again.
Stress is a terrible thing and plays havoc with your health, and being a fellow 'chronically ill' (and chronically fabulous 😉) Steampunk, I want to try and lift some of this stress and burden off of this lovely lady's shoulders.
If you wish to donate a couple of pounds towards this cause then fantastic! And if not, that's all good too!

Absolutely appalling behaviour on the part of the hotel! I cannot spare much, but I do hope it helps! I too suffer with 3 chronic illnesses and know how unpredictable health issues can be! Xxx
