My class was the first batch passed out 10th standard from the government high school Z.P.H.S Kondrupadu in India. The school was promoted to the high school status in the year 2000 without any basic facilities to the students. Students are still sitting on the floor in the class rooms throughout the day. To improve the basic facilities in the high school in my village, at least 50 school benches are required as an immediate need. Each bench would cost minimum 3000 INR (36£) and the total cost would be around 150,000 INR (1800£) for 50 benches. Since I alone cannot afford to buy all 50 benches, I am requesting you to contribute to this good cause by donating as much as you would like to.
