Story

In the blink of an eye everything can change!

We all heard it before but we don’t truely understand it until one day something happens and our life is changed forever. Every day becomes a challange and a struggle. Basic daily rutines become time consuming and complicated. One day we can’t do the things we used to love. Sadly this day happened for my big brother when he lost his leg in a tragic accident. He was hit by a car and his ankle got so demaged that the doctors had no other choice but to amputate his leg under the knee. His life is never going to be the same again.

My brother is a sport loving man. He ran 2 marathons and numerous half marathons and he was training for his first triathlon just before his accident. He is a motivation and example for all us. He doesn’t want to sit around and give up on his dreams. He wants to get back on his bike and do the thing he loves. He wants to set an example for his daughter. He wants to live his life to the fullest despite the challanges and the pain he endures.

I would like to raise 10000£ for his prosthetic leg. I am going to take part in different challanges and races over the year. My first challange is R.E.D. January (Run Every Day), BA Run Gatwick Half Marathon and planning to take part in the 50km South Coast Challange too.

I am going to run so my brother could run and cycle again!
