Hi my name is Marco Galleli and I will be running the Cambridge half marathon on the 4th of March to support and raise money to help Zuzanna with her rehabilitation.

Zuzanna was born with Spina Bifida and hydrocephalus.

Zuzanna is paralysed from the waist down.

She has a neurogenic bladder and she is catheterized five times a day.

Zuzanna needs continuous rehabilitation to be an active, independent girl and be able to look after herself in the future.

Her parents exercise with Zuzanna twice a week. The physiotherapist comes to her once a week.

This year she started going to a residential Rehabilitation like she used to when she was younger.

The rehabilitation sessions are very intense for her, but they will help develop her independence in practical and physical fitness.

Without them Zuzanna will not be able to achieve a more independent life.

This rehabilitation, however, costs a lot of money:

-One visit from the physiotherapist costs £85 and for her needs it costs £340 per month

-Two weeks residential rehabilitation costs £1450.

-One week residential rehabilitation costs £950

Hopefully by getting to this amount, Zuzanna will be able to have 1 year free of worries about this and have more quality time with her family.
