Finchley Children's Music Group is a youth choir for 4 - 18 year olds (Charity no 1160096) based in East Finchley. We currently have 180 children spread over 4 mixed-voice choirs. Established in 1958 to perform in the London premiere of Benjamin Britten's children's opera Noye's Fludde, Britten then became our first President. FCMG has since evolved into one of the country's most highly regarded mixed-voice youth choirs. It is currently run by 5 voluntary Trustees, all of whom are parent of current or past singers in the choir. We have no core funding.
