In 2019 I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis, knowing very little about it. My life changed very quickly and I was put on a lot of medication and back and forth to hospital. Through the Crohns and Colitis UK charity, I had support at a time when I most needed it. Crohns and Colitis are life changing diseases which affect people’s everyday lives and the charity works to support those suffering as well as funding research on treatment, as these are not curable diseases. 

Crohns and Colitis UK has helped me at times when I have suffered with my condition and continue to spread awareness and help many others like myself.
