Story

Over 5 days in August, I'll be walking the 80+ miles from East to West, from Cambridge to Oxford, to raise money for the Oxfordshire MBF 2025 Festival, Oxfordshire. It's a fantastic charity that supports a range of good causes locally, nationally and worldwide. It's the first time we've hosted the Festival, and a small group of about 300 people trying to raise £500,000, so we need all the support we can get. I'm doing this in part in memory of my father, who loved both the Mark, and doing long walks for charity.

About the campaign

As well as supporting the work of the MCF, freemasons are dedicated to fundraising for national appeals and campaigns on behalf of other charities.

About the charity

Funded by Freemasons, the Masonic Charitable Foundation (MCF) is one of the largest grant-making charities in the country. We build better lives by enabling opportunity, advancing healthcare and education and promoting independence. The Scheme is operated under the Grand Charity - part of the MCF
