One Special Day 2020
Campaign by SpecialEffect (RCN 1121004)
On Friday 2 October 2020, One Special Day is back! The dedicated day when the video games industry comes together to enable SpecialEffect to help more gamers with disabilities to play video games.

Story

Video games have an uncanny knack for bringing us all together and in the right hands, this sector can be a force for good!

Making games accessible for all and breaking down barriers is an incredible cause and few do work as amazing as the wonderful people behind SpecialEffect.

Their team of therapists and game technology specialists ensure that as many people as possible have access to our favourite hobby, opening up experiences which would otherwise have been closed to certain people.

This incredible work can't be done without consistent funding, and we're incredibly proud to raise money on their behalf this One Special Day!

"Every year on One Special Day, the games industry – mobile, PC and console – stands together to raise vital income to help gamers’ charity SpecialEffect level the playing field for gamers with disabilities."

At Aardvark Swift, we're committing to a collective Ironman Triathlon. That means:

  • 2.4-mile swim
  • 112-mile bicycle ride
  • 26.22-mile run

All money raised will be going to enable the incredible people at SpecialEffect to keep doing the life-changing work they do!
