Story
This May, I’ll be running the 10 km during Ottawa Race Weekend with a fundraising goal of $1,000 in support of the Canadian Lung Association — an organization I am proud to now be a part of.
While I don’t have lung disease myself, I have loved ones who live with lung conditions, and I’ve seen firsthand how deeply it affects their daily lives. Their strength, resilience, and determination inspire me, and they are a huge part of why I’m dedicating this run to supporting lung health for all Canadians.
Since joining the team at the Canadian Lung Association, I’ve come to understand the incredible impact this organization has across the country — from supporting patients and families, to funding life‑changing research, to advocating for clean air and better respiratory health for everyone.
By donating, you’re helping ensure that all Canadians living with lung disease get the support, resources, and hope they deserve.
Thank you for cheering me on and for supporting a cause that means so much to me. Every dollar brings us closer to healthier lungs and healthier lives.
