This year I’m doing the 2K at Ottawa Race Weekend in honour of our dear friend Pat 💛

Pat was part of our lives long before Team Rob began. She worked with Rob at Tivoli for years, but she was so much more than that—she was a true family friend to us all. The kind of person who’d welcome you in, hand you a cold beer, and make you feel instantly at home. You couldn’t help but have a great time around her. We loved her so much.

Losing Rob to cancer changed everything for our family. He was the best dad and husband—we miss him every day.

We do this for the people we’ve lost—Rob, my dad, Pat… and too many others.

For the people still facing cancer who need hope and support.

And for our daughters—for their future, and for a world where cancer doesn’t take people too soon.

Cancer is complicated, and there’s no quick fix. But research is how things change. Every step and every dollar supports the work at The Ottawa Hospital—and it’s making a real difference.
